Chantel Scheepers is very overated. She did brilliantly to reach the last 16 at the French Open this year, but i doubt she ever do it again. The South African has struggled throughout her career to reach the top 100 and although she finally did this in 2010, I doubt she move up much further. She is a solid player, but lacks a weapon that will move her up higher into the top 50. Shaui Zhang is a very up and coming Chinese player. Following on from the likes of Li Na and Jie Zheng, Shuai has had a good solid year and last month achieved a highest rank of 99 in the world. At only 21 years of age Zhang should be looking forward to moving into the worlds top 50 next year. The best win of her career came in her home country, last year defeating Dinara Safina in Beijing. This week in Guangzhou she will again take advantage of the home crowf and defeat her South African opponent.
