British number one Elena Baltacha is faced with a tough match-up against Jamie Hampton of the USA. Jamie qualified for the tournament and loves to play on hardcourts. She is very talented. Baltacha has a lot of pressure on her in this tournament, ith a lot of points to defend in Melbourne. A loss for her could move her down the rankings quite considerably, so she knows a win is vital. I think she will just come through this but it may well be a three setter and nail biting stuff.
