Irina Falconi causes upset by defeating Zarina Diyas in Australian Open qualifying

Zarina Diyas will be kicking herself tonight when she realises she should have been in the Aussie Open main draw. The Kazak youngster was 4-1 up in the 1st set tie-break only to lose it 8-6 and from then on her mentality had all changed. Credit is due to Falconi though who kept to her game plan and even after wasting 3 match points on the Diyas serve, stayed strong to win her next game to love and take the match.
