Tennis Tipster News: Cilic downs Isner in classic marathon match

Marin Cilic twice fought back from a set down to defeat John Isner 9-7 in the fifth set. Isner started the stronger, allowing Cilic hardly any points from his 1st serve, taking the first set. Cilic gained two breaks in the seocnd set to win it 6-2 and when 4-3 up in the third set tie-break with a mini-break it looked like he was going 2-1 up. However Isner won 4 of the next 5 points to take it. Another tie-break in the 4th set saw Cilic take a 3-0 lead then took the set 7-2 to make the match all square. Serve dominated the match and only one service break in the 16th game of the 5th set sealed victory for the Croat, who faces Nadal or Tomic in the next round.
