Kim Clijsters defeated Agnieska Radwanska 6-3 7-6 in the last womens quarter final. The Belgian had over 40 winners against the Pole but also created a lot of errors. Leading 6-3 4-2 Kim let the game slip and Radwanska was 30-0 5-4 up serving and just couldn't finish the set off. Clijsters cameback strong and took her place against Vera Zvonareva in the semis.
