Tennis Tipster Tip: Andy Murray v Alexandr Dolgopolov

Many tennis fans thought it would be Andy Murray v Robin Soderling in the quarter finals today. Murray made it in fine style with a thumping of Jurgen Melzer, however Soderling could not continue his fine form of 2011 and was beaten in 5 sets by Ukranian Alexandr Dolgopolov. Many feel Murray is going win this match easily, and on his current form he probably will. yet take time to look at the Ukranian and you can see he has potential. With wins over Soderling and also Tsonga in this tournament Alexandr will look to make it three in a row of upsets. He will need to use his powerful serve well which is his main weapon if he is to stand a chance. He also has powerful groundstrokes which can hurt his opponent. I think Dolgopolov could take at least at set from Murray, if the ocassion doesn't get to him of course as this is a big match for him!! Murray though is a class act. he wants to win this tournament and has all the skills to do it. He seems to instinctivly know which is the correct shot to play and disguises his shots well, confusing his opponents. He is too good for Dolgopolov and he should win this one.

Match Prediction:

Murray to win.
