Benesova has played well in this tournament and finally reached a 4th round of a Grand Slam. Still the Czech has plenty of experience and has also knocked out seed Kirilenko in the second round. Benesova will being trying to defeat her third Russian opponent on a row but Vera Zvonareva will be a different force. Vera is coming off the best period in her career. Ranked number 2 in the world and reaching the last 2 Grand Slam finals Zvonareva will punish Benesova at every opportunity, moving the Czech girl around the court in her ball placement. Vera should win this match comfortably.
