Seppi is playing challengers to gain some confidence after a poor start to 2010 by his standards. He did however play well on the clay in mid-2010 which maintained his ranking around the 50 mark. The Italian is a main ATP tour player and will look to gain victory here to boost his ranking and set himself up for a good campaign in the US Masters Series events and more importantly the European Clay court season. Seppi has been in great form here in Bergamo ansd should defeat Muller in the final. The Luxembourg player though has spent most of his career on the challenger circuit, mainly very successful. He has never really played his best in ATP tournaments but knows how to win on the challenger circuit.
Head to head it is 1-0 to Seppi after he won easily 6-1 6-1 6-4 on hardcourts in 2007. He should win this too.
