Heather Watson thrashed Michelle Larcher De Brito 7-5 6-1 to qualify for the Memphis WTA event in stunning style. Both 18 year olds traded breaks in the first set but it was Watson who took it 7-5. The 2nd set was dominated by Heather, who served over 80% of first serves and won over 80% of them in the process. The Guernsey born player also served a cool 9 aces on her way to victory to make the main draw.
