ATP Estoril: Milos Raonic v Fernando Verdasco

Milos Ranoic is fastly becoming a top 20 player on the ATP Tour. He has showed he can be difficult to beat on hardcourts and now he is trying to make a name for hiself on the clay courts of Europe. He had a great win in round one against Igor Andreev, saving all 8 break points he faced then in the quarter finals he upset French star Gilles Simon after a rain delay. He will now play Fernando Vesdasco a player he has already beaten twice this year in hard fough three setters. The Canadian will be full of confidence against the Spaniard, but can he really defeat a clay court king? Fernando has been in poor form for him this year and needs to collect big points to keep hold of his top 20 ranking. He is not playing like the former top 10 player is was last year and this could give Raonic a chance. However as long as he doesn't think too much about his too losses to his opponent and can play freely he should win this one. He will be able to attack the Raonic second serve which should give him plenty of break point opportunities.

Match Predictions: Fernando Verdasco to win.
