WTA Madrid: Julia Goerges continues form in Madrid

German number two Julia Goerges continued her fine form which saw her win the Stuttgart Open last week with a three set win over 14th seed Kaia Kanepi of Estonia. After losing the first set on a tie-break Goerges took control and win the next two 6-1 6-4. Goerges has the potential to break into the worlds top 20 and along with Andrea Petkovic are starting to put German womens tennis back on the map.
