Schiavone has had a hard time of it since winning the French Open back in May. She has struggled with the new found fame and no body including me gave her a chance of reaching the later stages. She has done well though with some impressive wins against quality players and seems to have refound this confidence. She has made venus work in previous matches and may do so again. She can be difficult to play against. Venus has quietly moved through the draw and is a dangerous outsider. No-one has really mentioned her a contender. She may well get the crowd behind her, and if she serves well she has the game to beat the best. This could be a sea-saw match.
