Gael Monfils takes on David Nalbandian in the second rubber of the tie. Monfils did well at the US Open last week and reached the quarter finals. He lost to eventual finalist Novak Djokovic, quite easily in the the end. The French Partisan crowd should get behind the youngster and his pumping serve should allow him to get some cheap points. The problem though is that Nalbandian is a great returner of the ball and is likely to attack any second serves Monfils throws his way. I think the indoor courts will suit Nalbandian more than Monfils and he has a good record indoors. Head to head surprisingly Gael leads 2-1, and both his wins came on hardcourts, whilst Nalbandian won their only clash on clay back in 2007. This could be a real sea-saw match and I think 5 sets is on the cards.
