France take a commanding 2-0 lead into this doubles tie after Llodra and Monfils won their singles matches yesterday. They just need one more win to reach the final. Although the combined ranking of the Argentines would make them favourites, this does not take into account many factors. Firstly Llodra/Clement are winners of numourous Grand Slam doubles title both as pairing and with different partners. Both over 30 they have plaenty of experience and have had great success on these Lyon courts over the years. The French pairing love this indoor courts and the partisan crowd will support them all the way, you know how noisy Davis Cup can be. The Argentines are goo but not that good. They will be intimidated by the ocassion and the pressure of the fact that need to win. They are a good quality pairing but will struggle today with Llodras powerful serving and Clements touch at the net.
