Paszek v Craybas, WTA Quebec

Tamira Paszek is just starting to move up the rankings again in the last few months. She found it very difficult to deal with stardom as the best next thing in tennis a few years ago, after some eye catching wins. She went into tennis obscurity after reaching number 35 in the world. This year has been trying to qualify for tournaments off her own back rather than accepting wildcards. She is still a teenager and still has a lot to offer the game. After this tournament she will be back in the world's top 150 and i think 2011 could shape up be a big one for the likeable Austrian. Jill Craybas is a WTA veteran. Now 36 years old, she plays for fun and to test her fitness. In the first round she came back to defeat number 2 seed Rezai. I don’t feel Rezai played well and Craybas was lucky. This match-up is a real youth versus experience. Paszek will desperately want to win whilst Craybas has no pressure on her. I still hope Tamira can gain the win and keep her momentum going in Quebec. With the top two seeds already out though, who knows what will happen tonight?
