Although Almagro is ranked higher at the moment the big favourite in this match up in my opinion is David Nalbandian. The Argentine made light work of John Isner in the last round and his fierce return of serve is going to make life very difficult for the talented Spaniard. Almagro is an clay court specialist but is capable of good results on hardcourts, though I think he will find this match too tough, especially after his long match against Mannarino yesterday. Nicolas will have to serve a high percentage of first serves and keep Nalbandian firmly behind the baseline, any short and the South American will punish him. Nalbandian just needs to continue what he is doing, playing great hardcourt tennis. He has a much more all round game for this surface and I think a straight sets win is on the cards.
Match Prediction
Nalbandian to win
