Aussie Groth makes semi-final in superb form
Jarmila Groth is looking to give the Aussie nation something to cheers about in Hobart. Groth thrashed Roberta Vinci in the quarter finals, not facing a break point on her serve throughout the match. She is in fine form after having by far the best season of her career in 2010. With Bartoli struggling in her quarter final against Klara Zakopolova, the path may be clear for Groth to take the title. Shuai Peng destroyed Italian hopes even further when she thrashed Sara Errani in quick fashion in the second quarter final to take place. Peng is in good form having defeated Kuznetsova last week. Peng gained revenge for her defeat in Beijing to Errani last year.
