Federer made to battle against French Tennis star Gilles Simon in Melbourne

Roger Federer looked to be romping away with the match after taking a 2 sets to love lead against Gilles Simon. The Frenchman had other ideas. After returning from injury late last year Gilles has been in great form, and last week won the Sydney Open event. He matched Federer for the next two sets and actually too the match into a fifth set. Federer notched the skill level up even further to record a 3-2 hard fought battle.
