Gilles Simon continues good form in Sydney

An 85% winning first serve percentage helped French player Gilles Simon into the next round in Sydney. He was expecting a tough time against one on the rising stars of the ATP tour Dolgopolov, and he got just that. The match was all about who could serve the better and after a a brief lapse from Simon in his third service game of the match, he never faced a break point again. Simon has slipped down the ranks due to injury but started to climb again at the end of last season. He can soon be a top 20 player again easily if he continues this form!
