This match is going to be a real battle. Neither player is in great form and Tipsarevic goes into the match with a 2-1 head to head record, in which one of the matches was at the 2008 Aussie Open. It was a tight match with Tipsarevic coming out a 7-5 7-6 7-6 winner. Since then Verdasco has become a top ten player and moved on, reaching the semi final here in Melbourne in 2010. The bookmakers favour Verdasco here, but I fancy a Tipsarevic upset in this one as the odds are nice value also. Could go either way and expect a lot of big serving.
