Na Li loves Australia and is ready to make her mark in the country again in 2011. Last year she reached the semi-finals in the Australian Open with a very consistent display of accuracy and power and with a good display in Sydney this week she may well go into the tournament as one of the favourites to reach the later stages of the Grand Slam once again. At 28 she is no spring chicken, but when injury free Na Li can beat the best. Virginie Razzano was a tough opponent in the last round, but she face an even sterner test today against Russian powerhouse Svetlana Kuznetsova. The head to head battle is currently 6-3 to the Russian and the players obviously know each others game well. All the matches have been close encounters with 5 of them going to three sets. They could be a lot of breaking each other serves and without knowing the true form of either player it is difficult to predict a winner. However I think Na Li may just have the edge in this match today and her game tactics may well disrupt Kuznetsovas power play.
