Match Preview - Tommy Robredo v Thomaz Bellucci

Both players had titanic battles in the first round. Robredo lost the first set 7-6 to NZ's Venus, before thrashing his opponent in the next two sets, helped by increased unforced errors from his opponent. Bellucci seemed in utter control in his match against Michael Russell serving at 5-4 in the second set to win the match. Then his game crumbled, especially his second serve and Russell went on to claim the 2nd set and took a double break 3-0 lead in the third. Game over? Not a chance Bellucci came storming back to level at 3-3 and from then on his serve was never threatened, the Brazilian eventually into round 2. i think Robredo is a better player than Russell and will return the ball stronger and more accurately to the weak Bellucci second serve. Both players are more at home on clay, so this will be interesting to follow, but I must favour the Spaniard on this ocassion
