Match Preview - Vicky Azarenka v Kim Clijsters

I tipped Vicky Azarenka a few years ago to be the next big tennis superstar. Unfortunately a few injuries last year stopped her in her tracks. 2011 could be the year from the youngster from Belarus. She is extremely powerful hitter of the ball and can out manouvre most of her opponents with her shot stregth. If the injuries stay away then she could have a shot at the Aussie Open. She faltered against Makarova in the 1st round but found hints of form against Peer in the 2nd, winning in straight sets. Kim Clijsters though is a formidable opponent and in great form. She is probably the only girl on tour with the exception of Serena Williams that could handle the Azarenka shots with some degree of ease. Mind games may end up winning this battle and i cannot see Kim losing to a sometimes fragile Azarenka. I hope Vicky puts in a good performance, but inevitably Clijsters should move into the next round.
