Polish Tennis star Radwanska back from the brink to beat Tennis Veteran Date-Krumm
Agnieska Radwanska was comnig back from injury in this match and faced tough opposition in veteran Kimiko Date. The Polish 21 year old won the frist set 6-4 before dropping serve in the first game of the 2nd set. Date-Krumm went on to hold her serve 4 more times in the set to level the match. Radwanska looked tired and error strewn. She took an injury time out at 4-1 down in the third with Date having too breaks of serve to her advantage. Not to be outdone Agnieska broke to love then held serve, before breaking agian to level at 4-4. Date-Krumm is a battler though and broke Rawanskas serve enabling her to serve for the match. Back came the Pole to level at 5-5 before taking a 40-0 lead on her serve, to look like the winner. Japan's Kimiko then won four points in a row and had 3 break back points in that game only for Agnieska to hold them all off and go 6-5 up. Under pressure Date-Krumm couldn't take the match into a tie-break and lost out to the talented Pole. Great workout for Radwanska
