Nadal is the big favourite here, being a former champion and the world number one. He had a good test in the last round against Bernard Tomic but moved safely through. Marin Cilic is dangerous though. If he has recovered sufficiently from his marathon match against John Isner then Cilic could prove a difficult task for Nadal. He possesses a huge serve so a lot will depend on his first serve percentage. He has the power to defeat Nadal and remember Cilic reached the semi-finals last year, losing to Murray, so he likes the courts also. Head to Head it is 1-0 to Cilic who thrashed Nadal 6-1 6-3 in Beijing back in 2009. There is no value in going for a Nadal win so I am going to go with the underdog and a Cilic win or also a Nadal win in 4 or 5 sets could equally have value
