Fed Cup: Russia beat France 3-2 in great comeback
2-0 down over night and Anastasia Pavyluchenkova a set down against Alize Cornet, things where not looking good for tennis powerhouse Russia. But Pavyluchebkova glung on to Cornet to take the first set and then dominated the third to take the match. Svetlana Kuznetsova struggled early on against Virgine Razzano but soon found better form to record a 6-4 6-4 win to level the match at 2-2. Although The French doubles pair took an early 3-1 lead in the doubles, the Russians showed there skill and dominated after taking the first set 7-5. Great comeback from a great tennis nation.
