Laura Robson has impressive win over Irina Falconi in Charlottesville

Laura Robson won her first match after coming back from a small injury set back when she defeated third seed Irina Falconi in the first round of a $50,000 ITF event in Charlottesville. Its also good to see the 17 year old gain the win on the clay courts, not something British players are used to doing! She next takes on experienced French player Claire De Gubernatis in the next round. The last time the two met Robson won 6-2 6-1 on clay in germany when Robson was just 15. Fingers crossed Robbo can get another win.
