I have an unhealthy appetite for following tennis around the world. From Grand Slams to ATP & WTA level events right down to the ITF circuit. No tournament is too small. Enjoy my predictions

Brilliant win for Elena Baltacha in Cagnes Sur Mer
Elena Baltacha moved into the quarter finals of the $100,000 event in Cagnes Sur Mer, France with a great win over Russia's Vesna Dolonts 6-3 3-6 6-3. Dolonts is better known as Vesna Manisieva, and can be a very dangerous player on her day. She beat Marion Bartoli in the Australian Open and so Baltacha did really well on her least favourite surface. Elena is aiming to keep herself in an automatic entry spot for Wimbledon at the end of June.
