Elena Baltacha defeats veteran Jill Craybas in Cagnes Sur-Mer, France

British number one had a confidence boosting win in the 1st round of the $100,000 ITF event in Cagnes Sur-Mer, France. The clay court win will give the Brit some hope that she can do well at Roland Garros in a few weeks time, if she can get a good draw, though she knows clay will always be a challenge. Craybas is one of the oldest players on the tour, but has the experience to cause any player problems.
