I have an unhealthy appetite for following tennis around the world. From Grand Slams to ATP & WTA level events right down to the ITF circuit. No tournament is too small. Enjoy my predictions

Australian Open Tennis 1st round - Morita v Cetkovska
Cetkovska @ 1.80 to beat Morita. In the summer of 2011 finally Cetkovska broke through in the WTA tour. After many years between the top 100-150, the Czech player found big form on the ITF clay court circuit, backed up with grass court success, especially at Wimbledon and made her way into the worlds top 50 WTA players, and a career high number 30 world ranking. She has a lot of experience now and has good wins in big matches in 2011 against the likes of Radwanska, Bartoli, Na Li and Ivanovic. She has never won a match in Melbourne, but has limited experience. A good run next week could see Cetkovska near a place in the worlds top 20 ranked women.... Morita is a good solid player but lacks power and mental strength to win these kind of matches. She has failed to move on like many wanted her too. She has nothing that will hurt Cetkovska and the only H2H between these two was in New Haven in 2011 a 6-2 6-2 win for the Czech. At odds of @ 1.80 I think offers great value.
