Y Wickmayer @ 1.65 to beat M Erakovic - The Belgian should win this easily and the odds are very tasty. She is a class player and has a great serve and powerful groundstrokes. However her match with Errani in Auckland shows she is vunerable and maybe a back injury is the cause? Erakovic will not defend as well as the tiny Errani and therefore Wickmayer should be able to take this. Great odds, doubts over fitness.... what more could you want on the WTA tour than a bit of risk
J Gajdosova @ 1.75 to beat A Morita - The Aussie is easily the best player, though her results in the Hopman Cup leave a lot to be desired, she may be lacking a lot of confidence. Morita is a good striker of the ball but her serve is very vunerable, something Gajdosova can take advantage off. This will probably go to 3 sets, but Gajdosova may well feel less pressure in Hobart than in the Hopman Cup
S Peer @ 1.66 to beat L Hradecka - depending on which Peer turns up will detemine the winner here. Peer is by far the better player and gave Petkovic a good match last week. Hradecka though has a big serve and power to hurt Peer. She won the doubles in Auckland and be full of confidence. Could be close, but Peer will want to win badly
