Tennis Value Punts - Friday 27th April

L Kubot + 5 games @ 1.90 v Gilles Simon - Interesting match up. Kubot is a lot more consistent player over the last 12 months and did well at last years French Open. He has a very good 1st serve and if that is at a high percentage he should hold his own against Simon. Gilles though was in great form last week in Monte Carlo and looks solid too. I can see a score line that is quite close and think Kubot + 5 games is worthy of consideration.

M Barthel + 5 games @ 1.90 v Azarenka  - Who knows what will happen here. Barthel should have won their last meeting but Vika pulled through. Barthel is still improving whilst Azarenka is confident form too. Barthel took out Bartoli 3 & 1 yesterday and if she can get over the mind demons of her last match with Vika, then she could have a close match. If not then Azarenka could breeze it..... think Barthel + 5 games is a nice price

F Lopez + 5.5 games @ 1.90 - All Spanish battle and Ferrer is the huge favourite. However Lopez has played well in his first 2 matches and if he can serve well should be able to hold on quite a few ocassions. Ferrer looks in top form after a dissapointing Monte Carlo and will take advantage of any weaknesses from Ferrer. 5.5 games handicap though is a big advantage for Lopez and is definately a chance
