Tennis Bet Of The Day - Friday 4th January

G Dimitrov @ 1.50 to beat J Melzer - Youth v Experience. H2H Dimitrov leads and I think if he serves as well as he did against Raonic then he can win again here. There is always the possibility that the headlines he made against Milos could backfire against him though in his next match. Melzer can play great consistent tennis. Interesting in Brisbane

A Mannarino @ 1.50 to beat Mochanov - The Frenchman playing in Challengers to get match practice and get his ranking up. He can take this match at a nice price

Goerges/Shvedova @ 1.35 to beat Coin/Pelletier - Simply put the German/Kazak are a lot better singles and doubles players, would be a big shock if they lost

Chang/Zan @ 1.50 to beat Buryachok/Solivieva - Zan is a brilliant doubles player and is coming back on the tour after having a child. Chang can also play well. It will be tough on their opponents at a good value price in Shenzhen

Chan/Chan @ 1.40 to beat Aoyama/Pegula - The Chans play regularly together and Yung-Jan is a top doubles player, I think  experiece will tell

There are a lot of risky matches for early season betting, if you like risk then my picks would be

£10 accumulator wins over £60

Outsider Wickmayer to beat Barthel in Auckland
Outsider Simon to beat Baghdatis in Brisbane
Outsider Dolgopolov to beat Nishikori in Brisbane
