Gulbis @ 4/7 to defeat Haider-Maurer
The Latvian is a hot head and has had an awful start to 2015. Not sure about his motivation at the moment, but he is due a good tournament. Ernests has never gone past the 2nd round at Monte Carlo but has lost to solid players every time Raonic, Monaco, Kohlschreiber, Dolgopolov etc. He has wins over Isner & Dolgopolov. Haider-Maurer is definitely more of a Challenger player and has been known to go into meltdown just as much as Gulbis has. The Austrian has got his ranking high now after a bit more consistency but he has no where near the ability of Gulbis. The price of the Latvian reflects his poor form as usually I would put him around 1/6 in this match up... 4/7 looks value but as usual low stakes!
