Wimbledon Tennis Day 2 - Fancy a Punt?

E Svitolina 1/2 bet365 to beat M Doi - Both can play on grass. Misaki can be very confident and consistent on this surface without having any major success. Svitolina lost to Watson last week in Eastbourne but again has had success at junior level on the surface being runner up to Bouchard in 2012 and can repeat that form if she wins a few rounds. The Ukranian's power and shot making ability should give her the win

L Robson 7/4 bet365 to beat E Rodina - Her outing in Eastbourne would have given her confidence eventhough she only won 1 game. She will test herself a bit more at Wimbledon and the crowds will get behind her. Needs her serve to work and to go for her shots from the start. Rodina has plenty of experience though and will be tough. Learning lesson for Robson so just a small punt

M Puig 7/4 bet365 to defeat M Niculescu  - Battle of the Monica's.... The Romanian been going well on grass especially in WTA Nottingham. However Puig has success at Wimbledon already and will not fear anything from Niculescu. The Puerto Rican not in form but can win this

J Tsonga 4/9 to defeat G Muller - Both excellent grass court players and big servers. Plenty of cheap points for both and probably tie-breaks likely. I think Tsonga has the better all round game and should take advantage of Muller's 2nd serves should he get the chance. Won't be many breaks in this match. Jo to edge it.

J Sock 8/13 bet365 to defeat S Groth  - Another very interesting match. Sam has been playing well on grass and has had plenty of matches. The Australian still inexperienced at this level and could well find himself pressured by Sock. Jack is still improving and has a game for all surfaces. I think the American should take this.

J Ward 8/13 bet365 to defeat L Vanni  - Big chance for James Ward which he needs to take. Orginally playing Ferrer he now faces lucky loser Luca Vanni. The Italian has done well to move up the rankings in the last 12 months but on grass he is somewhat an unknown. James will be hugely motivated knowing he has a good chance to break into the ATP top 100 and also put his name in the Davis Cup frame once again. Struggling to close matches out but hopefully he can at Wimbledon
