Wimbledon Tennis: Novak Djokovic v Marin Cilic

Defending champion Novak Djokovic came through a huge scare against Kevin Anderson over 2 days to reach the quarter-finals. The Serbian who admitted it was a very difficult match will find no let up in his next match against US Open champion Marin Cilic. Novak is going to face a barrage of 1st serves from Marin similar to Anderson plus Cilic has a better all round game than Kevin has. Novak is playing well but doesn't look unbeatable at the moment. Cilic will get chances on the Serbian's serve and needs to take them. Djokovic though finds ways to defeat opponents even when not playing his best so Cilic needs to watch out and keep his head. The players met at the same stage in 2014 and it went to 5 sets with Novak having to come from 2 sets to 1 down but won comfortably in the end. I think we could see a few tight sets again in this quarter-final especially with Cilic now a Grand Slam champion from the US Open and being more confident. With a W12 L0 record obviously Djokovic is the overwhelming favourite
