22 year old Johanna Larsson has had a fantastic 2010. She started the season playing in challenger events and after great success she has establsihd her place on the WTA tour and is ranked 67. She has wins against Anastasia Pavyluchenkova and Patty Schnyder this year and will be looking to push on towards the worlds top 50 rankings before the end of the year. There looks to be a good battle between Johanna and Sofia Arvindsson for the Swedish number 1 spot and it looks to be benefiting both their games. Lucie Safarova promised much a few years ago but has never reached the level most of us expected. She has the game to beat the very best ans in 2010 has wins against Wozniacki, Radwanska, Schiavone, Sharapova and Pennetta. Unfortunately she needs to add a few elements to her game to be a solid top 20 player including working on her serve which is prone to collapse. I think this could be a tough match for the Czech girl but she should have enough experience to outwit her Swedish opponent and move into the next round. She has battling qualities. I wouldn't be suprised if the match went to a third set.
