Two Germans battle it out on the indoor courts of Metz, France. Michael Berrer has come a long way in 2010 and now sits just inside the top worlds top 50 players. He is very solid and likes indoor tennis, reaching the final of the ATP Zagreb earlier this year and also winning a Challenger event on the same surface. At 30, Berrer has finally got his game together and still has a few years to make his mark further in the game. Rainer Schuettler is a tour veteran. At 34 his best days have passed. Ocassionally he can find some of his old form and play some great shots, but the consistency which made him a top 10 player and Grand Slam finalist. He is currently ranked 90 and I cannot see him moving up much further. Rainer does have a 2-0 head to head against Berrer, but I think his younger colleague will be too good for him today.
PREDICTION:
Berrer to win
