Petra Kvitova must bew very tired having played two very tough and long matches in the last rounds against Yanina Wickmeyer and Barbara Zahlavova-Strycova. The Czech girl is probably playing on adrenalin and will probably have awoke a little stiff today. She is a battler though and is in great form only losing once this year so far. Mattek-Sands played a superb match against Andrea Petkovic yesterday and held her nerve to close out the match. The American has progressed nicely back up the ranks and will be looking to keep a top 50 ranking for 2011 and do well at some high profile events. She could defeat Kvitova here if she plays well and her opponent is tired, but i think Petra may well just take this match and move into her 2nd final of the year. Kvitova served 10 double faults against Wickmeyer and will need to reduce this if she is going to win.
