I have an unhealthy appetite for following tennis around the world. From Grand Slams to ATP & WTA level events right down to the ITF circuit. No tournament is too small. Enjoy my predictions

Fernando Gonzalez wins comeback match in fine style in Serbia
Former top 10 player and Grand Slam champion Fernando Gonzalez of Chile recovered from an early break to defeat home hope Martin Klizan in straight sets 6-2 6-4. The Chilian looked impressive and will gain a lot of confidence. He is ranked outside the worlds top 500 at the moment but should easily recieve some wildcards into some of the big clay court tournaments and build his ranking back up to at least the worlds top 30 players. Its a long way off but he is such a likeable player that he will get plenty of support.
