ATP Munich: Nikolay Davydenko wins 21st ATP title

Nikolay Davydenko powered to his 21st career title with an excellent week in Munich. The Russian former top 5 player who now is ranked outside the worlds top 20 at number 40 defeated home favourite Florian Mayer in the final in three sets. Davydenko has been plagued with injury and match fixing allegations in recent years but he produced some great form in Munich and his title is well deserved.
