Value Punts - French Open Tennis Friday 1st June

Seppi v Verdasco over 36.5 games @ 1.65 - Verdasco has a 6-0 record over Seppi but they last played in 2009. Since then Seppi is getting better and Verdasco has struggled. However Verdasco looks to have his confidence back and should win this, however the set scores could be close and maybe 4 or 5 sets.

Fognini v Tsonga over 34.5 games @ 1.65 - Tsonga definately favourite, but Fognini loves it here and loves a fight. He is capable of taking a set and keeping it tight

L Kubot @ 1.50 to beat D Goffin - The Pole did well here last year as a qualifier. He is again looking good and should be able to dismiss Goffin. The Belgian took out Clement in 5 sets in the last round and think he will find Kubot too good

Martinez-Sanchez @ 4.50 to beat D Cibulkova & Matinez +5.5 games @ 1.75 - Martinez-sanchez has a 2-0 H2H over Cibulkova but both on hardcourts a few years ago. The Spaniard if on song is very dangerous on clay and her could trouble Cibulkova. She will be super confident afte her win over Safarova. Cibulkova though is a tough cookie and is looking good this year in Paris. She should win this match but I think Martinez-Sanchez can keep it close.

Pennetta @ 2.62 to beat A Kerber - Will be tough for the Italian but She has a 2-1 H2H record and won on clay last year against Kerber. It all depends on what Penetta turns up.... If she can cut out mistakes, move Kerber around and keep a good 1st serve percentage she could do it
